If you want to give something fashionable as a gift, it is often difficult to find exactly the right color, size, or even the right taste for the person you are giving it to. Fashionable and timeless accessories such as a scarf, hat or headband are a great alternative - of course fairly produced and in organic quality.

A great way to make others happy: invest a sum for a good cause in the name of the recipient. For example, support a relief organization or promote environmental protection with a donation. Plant trees or, together with an environmental protection organization, give the gift of sponsorship for natural flower meadows or rainforest areas.

The "golden gift rule": a voucher. If nothing else works and you have no other ideas, look for a sustainable label or company and give your loved ones a gift voucher. That way, the recipients can decide for themselves what suits them best and both sides are happy.

Environmentally friendly packaging
There are many really nice alternatives to conventional wrapping paper. Why not try using newspaper, baking paper or wrapping paper that you have saved and decorate with a pretty ribbon, fir branches and dried orange slices, for example. Or use old fabric scraps or napkins that the recipient can reuse. If you don't want to do without the wrapping paper look, look for environmentally friendly recycled wrapping paper when shopping - preferably with a "Blue Angel" seal. This seal confirms that the paper is made from 100% recycled paper and that no new trees had to be felled for it. If possible, wrap the gift in such a way that it does not have to be torn up when unwrapping and the recipient can reuse it.
