We set high standards along the entire textile value chain. All of our products are climate-neutral, fairly produced, ecological and skin-friendly. We mainly use natural materials from controlled organic cultivation or from controlled organic animal husbandry. In addition, we work with resource-saving materials such as TENCEL™ and EcoVero™ from Lenzing, or with recycled materials such as ECONYL®. We are GOTS-certified and a member of the IVN. The criteria we define make a significant contribution to ensuring sustainability at every stage of production.

No. 01
Pure natural fibres and ingredients

For our textiles we use a wide range of natural raw materials that are free from pesticides, herbicides and other poisons. These include cotton, linen, wool, hemp, silk, alpaca, yak and cashmere wool. We also select our ingredients (buttons, labels, ribbons, etc.) with particular care, pay attention to products that have been tested for harmful substances and only use OEKO-TEX® certified materials. Where possible we use natural raw materials - for example, we completely avoid plastic for our buttons and instead use horn, corozo or metal.

No. 02
Pure colors and high-quality finishing

We carefully select the high-quality dyes for our garments.

We do not use chemical finishing on our textiles.

All our textiles are free from harmful or toxic substances. We do not use anti-moth treatments, chlorine bleach or biocide treatments, nor synthetic resin, nickel or Teflon. We also use ecological alternatives such as steam, heat and pressure to ensure that the textiles are long-lasting and easy to care for.

No. 03
Fair production

We take responsibility in our cooperation with production partners, are personally on site and carefully check the social standards.

The focus is on humane working conditions, fair wages, no child labor, regulated working hours, no discrimination or forced labor, respect for freedom of association and regulated employment relationships.

The producers who make our clothing generally have certificates that ensure social standards in the company. These include the GOTS certificate, the amfori BSCI Code of Conduct, the SA8000® standard and auditing by the Fair Wear Foundation. In addition to seals and certificates, consistent values play a central role for us when selecting new producers.

Resource-saving logistics

Our logistics are subject to regular optimization to protect the environment.

We ensure that transport routes are as short and resource-efficient as possible.

We order our goods from the respective suppliers early on. The more time we have, the more environmentally friendly we can ship our goods - by rail or ship from China, by truck from the EU or Turkey. In absolutely exceptional cases, for example if there is a major delay in production, we also have to ship individual product groups by plane.

The packaging of our textiles is made from recycled plastic or paper.

Our products are generally individually packaged in thin bags made of recycled plastic for shipping so that they are protected on the way to our customers. Since 2020 (collection A/W 20/21) we have been using a banderol made of recycled paper for some suitable products, such as jeans or voluminous knitwear. This allows us to save packaging materials.

For online shop orders, we use shipping boxes made of recycled paper and, where possible, used boxes.

In addition, a sticker is included with each shipment so that the box can be neatly resealed in the event of a return - this significantly extends the lifespan of the shipping boxes. We save on paper invoices or return slips by offering digital document shipping.
