Our LANIUS shoes are produced by our knitter with over 60 years of experience. Equipped with the most modern machines, they knit our sneakers from natural materials such as TENCEL™ in summer and our shoes from certified organic virgin wool in winter.

Why does LANIUS also produce in China?

LANIUS has been producing in China for over twelve years - exclusively in selected companies for whom the love of sustainability and craftsmanship under fair conditions is just as important as it is to us. We visit our partner companies personally and in many cases we can look back on decades of good cooperation. The companies are selected based on our sustainability guidelines and high quality standards.

The label “Made in China” has negative connotations, but this prejudice cannot be applied across the board to an entire country – there are good and less good production facilities all over the world.
